Children and Young People/ Voluntary, Community and Faith Sector Forum
For many years Surrey Youth Focus has taken a leading role in the Connexions Forum bringing together the voluntary sector and Connexions.
However it became evident that a wider remit was needed in view of changes to Connexions, now part of Surrey CC, and the need to influence the C&YP agenda more strategically.
The C&YP / VCFS Forum was established in 2008 with the terms of reference listed below.
The first meeting in September 2008 considered issues relating to Young people and homelessness, and the December meeting examined Young people and mental health/ depression.
The issue papers are attached below, and further reports from the Forum to the C&YP CP will be placed here.
