Saturday Play Group Leader Vacancy

Part-time Group Leader required at our Saturday Play Group 9am – 4pm (& planning time).

Salary £80 - £92 week

Required education

Level 3

Required experience

At least 2 years’ experience working in early years setting or similar.

Immediate start

You would lead and coach a team of 6 staff members and around 10 volunteers to deliver an exciting, energetic and age appropriate schedule of activities for a large group of Children aged 4-12 years of age. The role would be both challenging and very rewarding.

  • It is essential that you have a Level 3 Qualification in Play or Early Years or equivalent and at least 2 years’ experience working in an early years setting or similar.
  • Experience of Ofsted, planning and leading group sessions
  • Be able to inspire, motivate and energise a young team of sessional workers and volunteers.
  • Confident, enthusiastic, warm and friendly personality, with a willingness to encourage and help others.
  • You must be willing to support service users with personal care, moving and handling and administering medication as well as developing their communication skills.
  • Some experience of working with people with complex needs/disabilities is desirable.
