Rainbow, Brownie, Guide and Ranger units meet regularly, usually weekly throughout the County. Guiding uses a method of five distinct elements that interlink. All Guides, whatever age, work together in small groups, are encouraged to govern themselves and make their own decisions, have a balanced and varied programme, care for the individual and share a commitment to a common standard. Within this framework the girls are given the opportunity to have fun, learn new skills, interact with others, enjoy the outdoors, and undertake exciting and challenging activities.
