Services to Surrey Youth Focus members

• Representation at county, regional and national level for issues affecting voluntary youth work.  Surrey Youth Focus has membership or is represented on a number of influential forums and organisations. These include: Connexions Surrey, South East Youth Partnership (SEYP), RAISE, National Council for Voluntary Youth Services (NCVYS), High Sheriff's Youth Awards, Surrey Children and Young People's Trust.
• Celebration of Youth event to promote members' success.
• Open Forum events with speakers and topics of value and interest held twice a year.
• Surrey Youth News issued five times a year.
• Membership directory of all organisations.
• Active working relationship with Surrey Youth Development service.
• Information broker and advice on training, funding, Connexions, initiatives, legislation and development.
• Youth Development Worker (Nick Glover) who can help to support existing quality voluntary youth projects and assist the set up of new sustainable projects that can be taken on by the local community.
• CWDC (Children's Workforce Development Council) Workforce Development Project Officer (Kerry Evans) producing roadmap of youth training opportunities and access to courses.
• Rapid electronic bulletins and information on news and opportunities to lead contact in member organisations.

• Access to subsidised training.
• Up to date resources including, Resources Directory and Tool Kit for Youth Workers.
