Swingbridge Community Boats

The trips for schools and youth groups give young people an introduction to boat-handling skills or hands-on environmental work. Charges vary, according to requirements. Groups supporting young people with special needs may also be interested in a leisure trip on Swingbridge 1.

The trips from the National Trust’s Dapdune Wharf in Guildford run through the spring and summer. They are for small groups of people, young and old, from all kinds of community organisations and residential homes. Swingbridge is equipped with a wheelchair lift, making it accessible to people with limited mobility.

The leisure trips for up to nine people run twice a day on Tuesdays to Fridays, at 10.30 a.m. and 1.30 p.m. See: http://www.surreycaretrust.co.uk//swigbridgecontact.html
