Eikon, a charity supporting young people aged 11-18 are looking for volunteers to join their successful mentoring scheme currently running in Surrey Heath.

Volunteer mentors offer support and form a positive one to one relationship with the young person who may be experiencing difficulties or who may want to make changes in their lives.

Mentors are matched with young people referred by schools or social services who are dealing with issues such as unstable family lives, low self- esteem, self- harming or anxieties over the their studies. They meet in school or a public place for an hour a week to talk about these issues.

Mentors should be able to volunteer for a minimum of two hours per week. Full training is provided. We are keen to hear from people from all ages and backgrounds.
